ART- THE LANGUAGE OF EXPRESSION

The one or two hour long drawing classes you took in school, the paintings sold at the local art store in the corner of your town’s market, the colorful Rangolis drawn during Diwali at each house in the neighborhood, the henna designs you make at the occasions on the palm of your hands, does that sum up to be art for you? In my opinion, art is the language of the uncommunicable and the stories of mankind. art is where one puts life in thoughts. Art is more than one could ever explore.

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”- Thomas Merton.

It couldn’t have been put better. We all have our own rhythms and journeys to do things. Holding the paintbrush triggers the creativity in some while for some their muse can simply be their beloved ones. Each person has a different perception of art. There’s no way one should confirm to only one particular form of creativity.

We usually under estimate the small things in life which could make large differences, a word as small as just three letters has such countless implications to it. ART has the power bring into being. Art is freedom. An opportunity from the undetectable boundaries, freedom from the imperceptible obstacles, lastly freedom from commotions. Art is the space to express, the space where nobody has a privilege to pass judgment, it is the space where imagination is bought to life.

Art is the infinite space of creation.

According to me, art is a varied form of expression. You need to have a keen eye for beauty. Beauty exists everywhere. Noticing that is art. Capturing that in camera, or in a painting or in a sculpture is art. The story of the ephemeral laid into a heart aching poetry or the melodious music that rise your spirits is also art. The play which convinces you that it’s not the actor but you is also art. From these classic forms of art, as generations pass, art has got surprisingly versatile. It’s funny how meme makers could make the most serious and worst situations moments of laughter.

ART THERAPY:

Life can find us a thousand ways to be less stressed. We live a hectic life where we need to follow a few different ways to reduce the pressure. Well, most of us are tired of yoga sessions after we realized meditation can’t be our cup of tea. Prompting your innovativeness is probably the most ideal approach to relegate the stress.

Art is a method of facilitating the hard situation. You don’t have to explain complex theories like you have to in science. Art itself is a solution. A remedy. Art is therapeutic.

Our emotions will be poured into that particular form of self-expression. Also, that can improve our creativity in a productive way. Artistic skills play a vital role in by and large mental health. Involving oneself in the imaginative works quickly releases stress, and quiets the resentment. Such exercises are prescribed by professionals to guarantee sufficient mental health.

Art is like a story, one you tell that could only be as you say it for no one other than you will ever have a story just the same. They speak of the hopes, dreams, fears, struggles and joy of the mankind. They tell the stories of our daily lives. Art is not just limited to the artist.

There is no need to create a masterpiece right away. But do pour out those feelings that have been long bottled up inside you in any form of art. Feel this liberty of the soul and that joy of creation!
